Cara Lee

For eight years I have worked with survivors of trauma and violence in Arizona, Egypt, and Southern California, and have clung to yoga as my primary tool for experiencing self-care, self-love and compassion.  Yoga has become a way for me to connect with my body, releasing tension, building strength and cultivating flexibility, in both my mind and body. In 2011, after ten years of practice, a desire to deepen my practice and offer yoga to others led me to obtain my Yoga Alliance Certified 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification from Akasha Yoga under the guidance of Stephanie Pafford and Alison Scola. I enjoy teaching Hatha and Vinyasa flow and I am thrilled to guide others in their practice of connecting mind and body, breath and movement, sense and thought to find strength, flexibility, calm and tension-release.
